The exhibition “Persephone’s Garden – Hands Create Art” opened the first program segment of the eighth Contact.

As a prelude to the eighth Contact conference, showcase, and festival, an exhibition of paintings by Katarina Žutić, “Persephone’s Garden – Hands Create Art,” opened at Dorćol Platz on Tuesday, March 19th. More than 200 guests enjoyed the opening of Katarina’s first solo painting exhibition in Belgrade. In addition to the author, Vesna Dujmović Rosić, the curator, and Vladimir Pavlović from the Discover Serbia association also addressed the attendees. Since nature is the central theme and the exhibition is of a sales nature, Pavlović revealed that Žutić approached him with the desire to direct a portion of the proceeds from the sale of paintings to this Association and that thanks to this donation, new seedlings will be purchased for Belgrade’s kindergartens.

Katarina Žutić will exhibit her paintings in a combined technique in “Persephone’s Garden” at Dorćol Platz until April 8th, and she has also prepared four accompanying programs: from expert guidance through the exhibition, pomegranate painting in Persephone’s Garden, to a musical program.
