Simona Kanjevac is the founder and CEO of the organisation Urban Muse – Live Scenes! and the annual Urban Muse Festival, as well as the Urban Muse Edu project since 2023.
She has rich experience in producing live music events, artist management, journalism, concert photography, design, PR, and advertising in the music industry, as well as coordinating complex events.
After completing the Music Course organised by FemixEdu, she interned at Charm Music Serbia, where she worked on preparing and promoting music events. After the internship, she decided to build her brand Urban Muse – Live Scenes! and independently organise concerts, as well as her annual Urban Muse Festival.
She has several published research papers presented at international conferences. Her work titled “The Value Transformation of the Fairy Tale Villain (from the Fairy Tales of Perrault and Grimm to ‘Maleficent’ by Robert Stromberg)”, published in 2022 in the journal ‘Detinjstvo’, has been particularly notable.
She lives in Belgrade, where she is pursuing her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Philosophy. In addition to that, she is a DJ and involved in acting. She loves travelling, teamwork, working in front of the camera, and her special skill is problem-solving.
