Lana Nikolić is a freelance journalist and activist advocating for the rights of youth, particularly those from vulnerable social groups.
She graduated and earned her master’s degree from the Department of General Literature and Literary Theory at the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade. Currently, she is pursuing her doctoral studies at the Faculty of Media and Communications, researching the connection between media, art communication, and social networks.
Lana has worked as a journalist at Radio Belgrade 202 and hosted the youth program “Perspective.” She was a scholarship recipient of the Institute for Digital Communications and a member of the UN Human Rights Team in Serbia for a year.
Throughout her career, she has participated in various projects, conferences, and events related to media literacy, inclusion, social networks, and communication.
She is engaged in digital illustration through her personal project @existential_sunflower, while also working on enhancing her media skills, sharing knowledge in the field of media and communications, and initiating discussions on societal issues on her Instagram profile.
Lana enjoys hosting various events and aims to launch her podcast.
