Iva Mišović, also known as Iva Lorens, is a singer-songwriter who composes, sings, and designs her own music videos, all embellished with her beautiful, pure soprano in her home workshop. Born in 1996 in Belgrade, Iva began writing songs at the age of 9, and by the age of 12, she was singing in Aleksandra Kovač’s choir “Beogradski Glas”. At the age of 16, she received a scholarship in America to sing in the Fryeburg Academy jazz choir, which won two Berklee awards during her attendance. She completed her music studies in Berlin as a scholarship recipient of the BIMM music institute, which has been attended by The Kooks, Marina and the Diamonds, James Bay, and George Ezra. Apart from mastering the soprano there, they helped her shape her music, which she presented on the final music album of the faculty in 2015. During her education, she also got acquainted with the industry as a journalist and host on MTV.

After returning from Berlin at the end of 2021, she appeared on the local scene and soon attracted attention and positive reviews. Lorens is “the promise of a new, proud Serbian mainstream,” said Dragan Ambrozić.

Her music carries elements of electro-pop, Iva’s gentle vocals adorn and float through her music, adding depth to the overall arrangements and sincere lyrics.

Her first song “Svitanje” quickly became an audience favorite, and readers of Oblakoder magazine declared it the song of the year 2021. The following year, mentored by Jason Derulo, she created her next single “2 to 4”, nominated in the “urban pop” category at the MAC awards.

In March 2023, she released her debut album “Svitanje”. The album represents growing up, falling in love, the society we live in, and much more. The main single “Udarci” reached the top of the Jelen Music Show chart, and the album itself was proclaimed one of the best albums of 2023 by Muzika.hr, City Magazine, and Oblakoder.

In April 2023, Lorens was the youngest participant in “Beogradsko proleće,” where she presented her song “Stranac,” nominated for Naxi Zvezda award in the Collaboration of the Year category.
