Branislav Grubački Guta was born on May 6, 1963, in Zrenjanin, where he currently resides with his wife Vesna and their two daughters. He completed his education at Zrenjanin Grammar School. For 25 years, he owned and operated the company “Zeleno Zvono,” which was affiliated with the National Theatre “Toša Jovanović” in Zrenjanin and the Serbian National Theatre in Novi Sad. In 2004, he founded the Novi optimizam Movement, an organisation that played a crucial role in major events in Vojvodina, including EXIT Festival, Sterijino Pozorje, Cinema Festival, Festival of Professional Theatres of Vojvodina, Cultural Centre of Novi Sad, and SKC NS. Over the past 7 years, his work and influence within the Novi optimizam Movement have expanded across Serbia, with a focus on Vojvodina, which serves as a perpetual source of inspiration. He has received top awards from the Association of Entrepreneurs, the Chamber of Commerce of Zrenjanin Banat, the City of Zrenjanin for his contributions to the city, and awards in Vojvodina for multiculturalism.
