Ana Krstajić was born in Belgrade. She graduated from the Faculty of Music Art in the Composition and Orchestration department (M.M. Serbia) and from Berklee College of Music, majoring in Music for Film, TV, and Video Games (M.M. Spain).
In 2014, she won the 1st prize at the “Women Composers” competition (Itaka, New York). In 2016, she received the 2nd prize at the International Composer Competition “De Bach au Jazz” (Paris, FR) in the Contemporary Piano category. That same year, she won the 1st prize at the International Music Competition “The Best Musical Mind” (Belgrade, SR), earning her a full scholarship for the Berklee Summer Performance Program (Valencia, ESP). She was awarded an Honorary Mention at the Soundtrack Cologne festival in Cologne in 2018, and in 2021, she won the Hollywood Music in Media Award (Los Angeles, California) for her composition “Naša zemlja.” In 2022, she emerged victorious at the Score Live competition and won a masterclass in film music in Madrid, where she recorded her work with the Radio Television Spain Orchestra. She was awarded the Classical Music Award for Best Applied Music Composer in 2023.
Since 2019, she has served as a cultural ambassador for Serbia Creates. She was selected for the mentorship session of the Alliance for Women Film Composers and the Society of Composers and Lyricists in America. Currently, she is working on several film, TV, and theater productions in Serbia and composing music for a collection of short animated films for Apple TV. She is currently a resident artist at the Kolarac Foundation in Belgrade.
