The largest event of music industry professionals in the region, the Kontakt Conference, Showcase and Festival will be held for the seventh time in Belgrade. #Kontakt23 awaits us from 23 to 25 March 2023, organized by the production company ‘Kontakt konferencija’, the concert agency Odličan Hrčak and the Belgrade Festivals Centre – CEBEF, under the auspices of the city of Belgrade.
In addition to the previously announced concerts of the group Goran Bare and Majke (Belgrade Youth Centre, 23 March) and the regional hip-hop attraction Vojko V (Zappa Baza, 24 March), the organizers have announced three more names that will perform at the Kontakt Conference, Showcases and Festival.
As part of the seventh #Kontakt23 edition, in the Belgrade Youth Centre, PARAF and REPETITOR (in the Americana Hall) and KRALJ ČAČKA (in the Big Hall) will perform.
The importance of PARAF for the development of the cultural community of the region, in addition to the timeless songs that are more than current even today, is also shown by the fact that the graffiti on which PARAF PUNK is written is declared a protected cultural asset by the city of Rijeka, the band’s hometown.
‘From the 1980s to today, there have been 40 turbulent years in which many things have changed: from hair color, number of band members, weight, some wrinkles on the face to the state. However, that energy, charge and great feeling have not faded, on the contrary’, said Vim Cola from Paraf on the occasion of the release of the album ‘Delta Live 2022’, which, among other things, will be promoted at Kontakt.
Paraf will perform in the Belgrade Youth Centre, in the Americana Hall on 24 March, starting at 9 p.m. Tickets are available at a price of 1,500 RSD for the promotional contingent, 1,800 RSD will be the regular ticket price, and if there are any remaining tickets on the evening of the concert, they will cost 2,000 RSD.
After a long concert break, KRALJ ČAČKA returned to the stage at the end of last year, released a new single and music video ‘Zemlja nije moj dom’ and held several memorable concerts. The concert he is preparing as part of #Kontakt23 will be very special: Nenad Marić and the band on the stage of the Big Hall of the Belgrade Youth Centre, with a seated audience and a repertoire adapted to the environment. Some of the best concerts were held by Kralj Čačka on such occasions, now is the time to enjoy.
Kralj Čačka will perform in the Big Hall of the Belgrade Youth Centre on 24 March, starting at 9 p.m. Tickets are available at a price of 1,500 RSD – promotional contingent, and the regular ticket price will be 1,800 RSD.
This year, REPETITOR marks 15 years since the release of his debut album, ‘Sve što vidim je prvi put’. The emotions of the audience on the occasion of this edition were aroused by a club gig in Elektropionir, which was sold out very quickly. Therefore, at the #Kontakt23 Conference, Showcase and Festival, they will make space for a much wider and more numerous audiences and properly mark the anniversary of the album, which is an indispensable part of every encyclopedia about contemporary music in our region. ‘Sve što vidim je prvi put’ was reissued on vinyl (Odličan Hrčak, 2022), and in addition to the songs from this album, Repetitor will also create a ‘best of the best’ set list, which will once again demonstrate why they are still considered the most energetic trio in the region.
Repetitor will perform in the Americana Hall of the Belgrade Youth Centre on 25 March, starting at 9 p.m. Tickets are available at a price of 1,300 RSD – promotional contingent, the regular ticket price will be1,500 RSD, and if there are any remaining tickets on the night of the concert, they will cost 1,700 RSD.
