And that is just one in a series of confirmations of her decades-long success.  <\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Branka Parli\u0107 will perform together with Nata\u0161a Penezi\u0107 on the first evening of the #Kontakt2022 Conference as part of the main music programme.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Concert: PAVANA AND MORE \u2013 Music for Solo Piano and Two Pianos<\/div>\n<div>Thursday 24 March, Kolarac Endowment, starting at 9 p.m. <\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>The programme includes works for two pianos and solo piano by Steve Martland, Gavin Bryars, Meredith Monk, Dragoljub Ili\u0107 Ilke, William Duckworth and Philip Glass.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Tickets for the \u2018PAVANA AND MORE \u2013 Music for Solo Piano and Two Pianos\u2019 concert are available at the box office of the Ilija M. Kolarac Endowment at the price of 800, 1,000 and 1,200 RSD.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2013<\/div>\n<div>Branka Parli\u0107 graduated in piano performance from the Faculty of Music in Belgrade under Professor Olga Mihailovi\u0107. She also studied under Professor Pierre Sancan at the International Summer Academy in Nice, France. She is dedicated to promoting the work of French composer Erik Satie, as well as New Music of the twentieth and twenty-first centuries.    . <\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>She has participated in numerous European and regional festivals. Her recordings and video clips are broadcast on radio and television stations in the region, as well as on the British TV channels Classic FM and C Music TV. Branka Parli\u0107 is the winner of the Global Music Awards for 2020.   <\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Her releases so far include LP Initi\u00e9s (1988), CD Initi\u00e9s 88 \u2013 Initi\u00e9s 99, CD Metamorphosis (2006), LP Satie &amp; Beyond (2013) and Double LP Initi\u00e9s (2017).<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>As an active pianist, concert organizer, pedagogue and lecturer, she has been engaged in the affirmation and promotion of New Music for many years.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>She has been a member of the Ensemble for Different New Music since its founding in 1977.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>Since 2006, she has been the artistic director of the \u2018New Ears for New Music\u2019 concert series dedicated to New Music. <\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2013<\/div>\n<div>Nata\u0161a Penezi\u0107 was born in Novi Sad, where she earned both her bachelor&#8217;s and master&#8217;s degree from the Academy of Arts under Professor Svetlana Bogino. After obtaining her second master\u2019s degree from the Royal College of Music in Stockholm where she studied under the guidance of Professor Staffan Scheja, she completed her PhD at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade under the supervision of Professor Dubravka Jovi\u010di\u0107 in 2018 (the doctoral artistic project is entitled \u2018Interpretation of New Means of Expression in Selected Piano Works by Pierre Boulez, Luciano Berio and Frederic Rzewski\u2019). After holding a faculty position at the Academy of Arts in Novi Sad from 2014 to 2019, she joined the teaching staff of the Faculty of Music in Belgrade in 2019, where she is an Assistant Professor of Piano as a Complementary Course (History of Pianism and Piano Literature).      <\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>She has participated in numerous festivals including Klangspuren Festival, IMPULS Graz, Ghent Festival, Ars Musica Brussels, Aarhus Festival, Kassel Minimal Music Festival, Euro Arts Music Festival, European Clarinet Festival Ghent, Citta di Chioggia, Musica in Laguna, Aurora Festival, Ni\u0161 Music Festival (NIMUS), International Review of Composers in Belgrade and Osijek, BUNT festival, Ring Ring festival and Pali\u0107 European Film Festival. She made her debut as a guest of honor in 2000 in Moscow with the KREDO Orchestra and conductor Nina Mitrikovskaya. She performed with the Chioggia Symphony Orchestra, the SYNC Centre Ensemble from Novi Sad, as well as the Muzikon Chamber Orchestra.   <\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>She is devoted to promoting the music of the 20th and 21st centuries, and actively collaborates with composers such as Frederic Rzewski, Sofia Gubaidulina and Jasmina Mitru\u0161i\u0107. Since 2017, she has been a member of the Ensemble for Different New Music. .   <\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div>\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014\u2014<\/div>\n<div>The biggest event of music industry professionals in the region, the Kontakt Conference, will be held in Belgrade from 24 to 26 March 2022, organized by the production company \u2018Kontakt konferencija\u2019, the concert agency
