Neno Belan, a legend of the Yugoslav pop-rock sound, will represent the Croatian music scene at “Kontakt”, and as always, his concerts in Belgrade bring the scent and rhythm of the sea. This year, Neno Belan celebrates 40 years of work on the music scene, and he will show that age hasn’t diminished his vigor at Dom Omladine. The energy carried by his songs, both from the “Đavoli” era and with “Fiumens”, remains strong, often captivating generations that weren’t even born when the songs were created. This is proof that the songs of one of the most successful singer-songwriters from the ex-YU area have indeed stood the test of time.

“We have been frequent guests in Belgrade for decades, and there have been many great concerts, but the one that particularly remains in my memory is the first one at Dom Omladine back in 1986, when we came for the first time and ‘blew away’ the packed hall. That was actually our promotion for the Belgrade audience, and they have known us ever since,” Belan said about his first concert at Dom Omladine. There won’t be a seaside at Dom Omladine, but Neno Belan & Fiumensi will definitely flood the audience with great energy and a coastal spirit, leaving them no choice but to sing and dance as if they were by the sea. Numerous hits created during 40 years of Belan’s career, the first 15 with the band “Đavoli”, and the last 25 years with “Fiumens”, have left an indelible mark in the history of pop-rock music.

Belan showcases his sense for melody and song through hits like “Pričaj mi o ljubavi”, “Stojin na kantunu”, “Bambina”, “Dani ljubavi”, “Ja volim je”, “Ostani uz mene”, “Dugo toplo ljeto”, “Zar više nema nas” and many others, which he will share with the numerous audience at Dom Omladine.

March may not be the month to go to the sea, but the unrestrained feeling and freedom that Belan’s songs bring will certainly be refreshing and enhance the evening for everyone present on March 21st at Dom Omladine. Tickets priced at 2,000 dinars can be purchased at the Dom Omladine box office, Anti Shop in Cetinjska 15, and through the online platform efinity.rs.
