BELGRADE KONTAKT CONFERENCE JOINED FORCES WITH BANJALUKA DEMOFEST

Banja Luka Demofest will take place from July 20th to 22nd at the Kastel in Banja Luka, and as part of the return edition, the largest festival of demo bands in Southeast Europe joined forces with the Belgrade KONTAKT conference.

As part of the daily program of the Demofest festival, the KONTAKT conference, the largest event of music industry professionals in the region, is coming to Banja Luka.

KONTAKT at Demofest is the name of the three-day conference that will be held from July 20th to 22nd in the amphitheater of the Youth Center in Banja Luka, starting at 1:30 p.m.

Thus, during the daily program of the largest festival of demo bands in Southeast Europe, Banjaluka will become a meeting centre for professionals from the music business sphere.

KONTAKT at Demofest will be marked by panels and public discussions that aim to further improve the work of all sectors that make up creative industries and entertainment industry, as well as to open up many issues that could help strengthen the cultural infrastructure in Banja Luka, BiH and the entire region.

During the first day, July 20th, everyone who visits Banja Luka’s Youth Center will have the opportunity to attend the panel “Are the small big?”, which will discuss whether the size of the festival dictates quality and survival.

On the following day, there will be a particularly interesting panel “What does the region play: Ode to Joy or Death March?”, where they will talk about the rights of musicians, whether musicians know they have them and how are they obtained.

The last day of the conference is reserved for the “Collision with invisible borders” panel, which will be dedicated to music export potential on the one hand, and real possibilities on the other.
